What's New From The Drawing Board of Tony Nijhuis
Updated 7th March 2015
Following the great success of the ducted fan version of the Vulcan, we have decided to make another foray into ducted fan model with the development of our new BAE Hawk.
The model is designed for the 68/70mm size fan units with an AUW around the 2kg mark. Initial test flights with a 6S Lander alloy fan have proved very positive with a very scale and smooth performance. We are currently testing our hand launch/belly land version (lightened) which will be ideal for PSS or operating from a rough grass flying site. For those who have the luxury of an all-weather runway. Retracts are detailed and will be available to buy from TND Ltd.
Launch date should be towards the end of April.
