132" Lancaster
Built by Marius
Jordaan and Allard
Walker of Cape Town,
South Africa in
2003, and was the
first really large
electric model to
fly in South Africa.
It was powered by
four geared Astro
05 brushed motors
and forty Nicad
cells.

With the numerous
flying sites we
have in Cape Town
for all year round
sloping, I could
not resist to also
build a slope version.
Dan du Toit, Cape
Town, South Africa.

Unlike finding
a suitable motor
for the size plane,
I enlarged the plans
to suit a motor
I already had. The
end product therefore
had a wingspan of
1000mm.

Town, South Africa.

Regarding the Zero,
I did stick to the
designed size and
as with all your
other designs, it
flies like a dream.

As this is the
first plane I’ve
ever built she’s
taking quite a lot
of abuse but its
great how you can
almost annihilate
this model and then
just get out the
superglue and off
you go again!! Built
by Piers Lincoln.

Building the Zero
gave me new confidence
in my own ability.
With that in mind
I moved on to the
Corsair which is
a personal favourite.
I’m really
impressed with the
end result. Built
by Piers Lincoln.
